HOW TO BUILD A WOMAN

AUGUST

HEDGEHOG HOTEL

I am very pleased to announce that Harleigh has made a speedy recovery and has been released into the wild.

On 29 July I found Harleigh with a terrible wound on her face, which turned out to be ‘hedgehog sickness’ a contagious infection, which has put our hedgehogs at risk over the last 5 years and she had to be separated from Holly.

Luckily we caught it early and discovered on 8 August that Harleigh made a speedy recovery and has been released into the wild.

Only 20% of hedgehogs survive this relatively new ‘hedgehog sickness’ with treatment.

While Holly tried to commit suicide the next day by trapping herself in a fence, we managed to cut her free and she still comes to feed every night.
