❤ Jenny’s Magic *Banana Chip Cake with Salted Caramel Frosting (!)… ❤
With Demerara Brown Sugar instead of Caster Sugar, this cake is extra rich, and well complimented with a Buttercream Icing and Banana Chips to top it off (!)
This also has to be one of the easiest cakes to bake, with little effort and cooks on a slow heat, ideal if you have a Rayburn or Aga.
And ideal for someone who is always… fashionably late.
2 large or 4 small Bananas
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
3/4 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Baking Powder
175-200g Demerera Soft Brown Sugar
125 ml Vegetable Oil.
Banana Chips (100g = £1 From ‘Kofali Hot Nuts’, Green Lanes).
Blitz everything together and bung in the oven in a greased baking tray on 180 Degrees for 1 hour.
